🥁Make Music Day Townsville🎸
It all started in June 1982 in Paris when artists performed for FREE in the street and in concerts to celebrate music. To celebrate the Fête de la Musique ‘s 40th Birthday, Townsville will present music from all over the world!
🎯9am SIMPLY SQUEEZEBOX will play some accordeon with a few French surprises…
🎯9.30am We’ll be off to Eastern Europe music and dance with the LETTUCE DANCE BAND!
🎯10am We head down to South America with Alex’s Brazilian drumming group, the TOWNSVILLE DRUM COLLECTIVE.
🎯10.30am the TOWNSVILLE & THURINGOWA COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION will transport us to North America with an hour of Country Music.
🎯11.45am will bring us closer to home with the Indonesian instrumental performance by ANKLUNG.
🎯At 12.00 noon the TOWNSVILLE STRUM & GIGGLE GROUP will celebrate the best in Queensland.
