Kegworth Public School Make Music Day in memory of Richard Gill

The students of Kegworth Public School will be showcasing their musical talent by celebrating Make Music Day on Friday morning 21st June. This year a special song written by Colleen O’Connell titled ‘Star In The Sky’- A tribute to Richard Gill will be sung by the whole school with the senior recorder group accompanying. The senior choir will also be performing a song called Dr Foster’s Journey, new music and lyrics by David Collins-White and inspired by Richard Gill ‘twinkle twinkle’ recording. The senior strings and senior recorder have been practicing for the upcoming festival of instrumental music and they will be performing Bluz For Suz, an upbeat jazz piece.
