SUMMARY:The Battle of the Horn Bands
DESCRIPTION:This year\, Resonator Music brings “The Battle of the Horn Bands” as a special Make Music Day show between BULLHORN Band from Brisbane and Hot Potato Band from Sydney. Both on the same stage\, like never before. \nThe opening performance is by the local gifted music students from L.S.T.T. School Concert Band formed by Lennox Head Public School\, Southern Cross Public School and Teven Tintenbar Public School. After them\, the local band Sky Eater will show the public the sound of femme musical warrior Chelsea Skyeater & her multi-instrumental artillery (Keys\, Sax\, Vocals\, Clarinet\,and Melodica). \nA fun afternoon of live music\, food\, drinks\, activities for kids\, and a wonderful fundraising event which all money raised will assist and support charities in our local area. \n\nThe Dementia Inclusive Ballina (DIB) Alliance. In 2022 it was estimated that there were about 400\,000 Australians living with dementia. This equates to about 1500 people in Ballina Shire\, with about 1000 live independently in the community with the support of a carer. DIB’s purpose is to respect\, support and empower people living with dementia and their carers.\nGive Them A Chance Inc is a community based organisation established by a determined and passionate handful of individuals who want to help the worryingly high number of young teens in Australia who don’t have a permanent foster placement. These young people deserve a whole lot better.\nBallina-on-Richmond Rotary Club has assisted the community in many projects\, organised various fundraisers that has enabled the Club to donate to many worth causes and organisations in the area\, as well as assist with Rotary projects internationally.\n\nTogether\, we can make a big difference!\nWe invite you all to come along and support this very special afternoon and help us to help our community. \nFor Auction: 2 nights in Corner Suite at the Ramada Hotel Ballina\, 4 vouchers by Seven Mile Brewery\, 2 Special Souvenirs signed by both band members. \nPlease Join Us At The  Cherry Street Sports Ballina  \nTime: 3:00pm – 7:30pm \nTicket price: $55 \nWhen: Sunday\, June 25. 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm \nTickets: $55 \nwww.resonatormusic.com
