Warwick/Stanthorpe/Killarney/Inglewood/Allora – Primary Schools Music Camp Performance

The music camp consists of state primary school music students who are at an intermediate level of expertise on their instruments. Students are from  schools in the Southern Darling Downs and Granite Belt areas of Queensland. The music camp is a yearly event. Three days of rehearsal take place with a performance on the 3rd day at Warwick East State School. The ensembles are string orchestra and concert band. Up to 100 students participate. At the performance encouragement medallions are handed out to selected outstanding students. The medallions are presented to students by the mayor or a local councillor. This year the event takes place on the 19th – 21st June. The performance takes place at 1.45pm – 2.30pm on the 21st June.
