Sydney Flash Mob Choir commenced in 2017 as a bit of a hair-brained idea to call for a spontaneous choir via SMS. Each month or so, City Recital Hall sends an SMS with a date and time. You decide to come along. We bring on stage one of Australia’s many entertaining and talented conductors who picks a song for you to sing, and there might just be a surprise guest. Join with hundreds of exhilarated voices, singing in collective spontaneity. Every now and again, Sydney Flash Mob Choir even goes outdoors!
For Make Music Day 2019, we will be warming up at City Recital Hall, before walking to Wynyard Station for our surprise performance.
