Make Music in the Hills – Evening Concert
June 21 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
An evening concert to celebrate the international Make Music Day in the hills of Melbourne.
We know that it is a little bit chaotic right now. Travel to the hills or not? Will I get power or not? Do I have to wear a mask or not?
Amidst all that is going on, if you can find a bit of time for music, we’re sure it will be your worth your while. This is a free concert. Please note that on this day, the Emerald Relief Centre is also providing a free lunch and dinner (located at the Hills Hub). You could grab a bit to eat there and then turn up to the concert.
Earlier in the day we will also have some minstrels wandering around, also visiting the Emerald and Cockatoo Relief Centres.
We have a range of musicians performing. If you are local, just turn up. If you are a musician, ideally contact Jose beforehand (in response to existing calls for musicians). Alternatively just turn up and we’ll do our best to share the stage as best we can.
Doors open 6.30pm for a 6.50pm start.
Please make sure you sign in, wear a mask and follow any updated advice regarding COVID safety practices.
COVID and the storm has affected everybody in the hills. Let’s put on some music!
