Make Music for Richard Gill

Plumtree Children’s Service at Marrickville will participate in the Inner West Council’s “Make Music for Richard Gill” celebration. We will have visiting musician Dr Amanda Niland coordinating a singalong with children and parents from Plumtree Preschool and other Plumtree families. We have long recognised the ability of music to contribute to a child’s language; communication; sense of belonging; and social connection. We want to pay tribute to Richard Gill’s championing of music for children in the early years to foster that lifelong love and musicality.
