The Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) was established for the promotion of community broadcasting including both radio and television. It represents over 300 members, which includes approximately 80% of Australia’s community radio licensees.
The CBAA has been a Make Music Day partner in previous years and we’re reconnecting to spread the word about Make Music Day and music making through the community radio network.
If you’re a community broadcaster, consider having some live music, talking about music making, or somehow getting into the spirit of Make Music Day, even if your program is not on the exact date (21st June).
Community broadcasting is an integral part of local communities, just like musicians and music groups, but digital radio and the Community Radio Plus app make it easy to find broadcasters outside your area too.
